Waiver & legal
Waiver summary.
Last updated September 1, 2026
Every renter signs a short rental agreement and liability waiver at the rental desk. This page summarizes what it says so there are no surprises. The signed agreement is the document that applies.
The dock crew has the last word
Every rental starts with a safety briefing. The rental desk can delay, shorten or cancel a rental for weather, lake conditions or a driver who is not fit to drive, and refunds the unused time.
What the waiver covers
You drive sober, at a safe speed and at idle in every no-wake zone
Kids under 7 wear a life jacket at all times, and every jet ski rider wears one
You tell the desk about medical conditions or swimming ability before you leave
You are responsible for damage caused by careless driving, as the rental agreement describes
Age and boater cards
The renter must be 21 with a driver’s license. Jet ski drivers must be 16 or older and boat drivers 18 or older, and anyone born after January 1, 1984 needs a boater education card to drive.
Accessibility
The Cove Tritoon boards level from the floating dock through a wide gate. Call us before booking and we will plan the rental with you.
