8:45

Fifteen minutes on the dock.

Show your ID and boater card at the rental desk, then a dockhand walks you through the boat: throttle, lights, horn, anchor and the no-wake zones on the map.

9:20

Throttle up past the buoys.

Idle out of the no-wake zone, then the lake opens up. The paper map in the console marks the coves, the swim spots and the fuel dock.

Anchor out, swim, eat lunch

12:40

Drop the anchor.

Pick a quiet cove, set the anchor the way we showed you and jump in. The swim ladder folds down from the stern, and the cooler is yours to fill.

We tie up the boat for you

4:45

Pull in, we catch the line.

Call the desk when you round the point. A dockhand meets you at Dock C, ties up, tops off the tank and you pay only for the fuel you used.

Give someone
a day on the lake.

Good for any boat on any day of the season, for two years. We email a printable gift card the same day, so it works for last-minute birthdays too.

Questions
before you leave the dock.

Still unsure? Call (573) 555-0146. A real person picks up at the rental desk, usually the one who will give your briefing.

How many people fit on a boat?

The Cove Tritoon takes 12, the Bay Runner 8, the Day Sailer 6 and a jet ski 3. Bigger groups book two boats side by side.

Do I need a boating license?

Is fuel included?

How early should we arrive?

Can we bring kids and dogs?

What happens in bad weather?
